First sessions, especially for those who have not been in therapy before, can be daunting. In the first session, we will explore your strengths and challenges, collaboratively work on goals, and discuss what you’re hoping to get out of our time together. The first few sessions are for us to connect and establish the foundations of our work together.

As of September 1, 2025, my fees are 150$ for a 50-minute session, and 225$ for an 80-minute session.
15-minute consultations are free and a perfect opportunity to determine if we would be a good fit.
Please note this does not include letter writing to insurances and other forms of communication.

Group therapy sessions are offered several times of the year with different topics available. Please reach out via the contact form for more information and to express interest.

During our 15-minute consultation, we will explore what brings you onto your therapy journey. We will also take the time to discuss what to expect from our first few sessions and how I practice as a therapist.
I can also answer questions about the process.

I accept e-transfers, exact cash, or credit card payments. Upon payment, I do offer receipts. Please reach out if you have any questions about receipts.
Please note that payments are due within 48-hours of the session. Please reach out if this is a barrier.

As a psychotherapist in Ontario, I am no longer required to charge HST for sessions and therefore do not charge HST on psychotherapy services. This includes group therapy.

Cancellations or late reschedules made within 24 hours of the session will be subject to a full fee of the session booked. Please note: late cancellations or late reschedules due to emergencies and illnesses fees are waived.

I do not directly bill insurance but do offer receipts upon full payment of the session, which can be claimed. I recommend all new clients reach out to their insurance company and confirm if a Registered Psychotherapist is covered under their individual policies. Most policies are different for each person, so it is crucial that you confirm prior to our session if it is covered.
